Frequently Asked Questions
Trainer led courses with a multiple-choice test. Trainees may be called upon to share their experiences and thoughts throughout to build on the course material and to identify cases of good and bad practice.
The EUSR National Water Hygiene course is a half day course for approx. 3 hours.
The EUSR National Water Hygiene and DOMS is a full day for approx. 6 – 7 hours.
The SHEA courses are full day for approx. 6 – 7 hours.
For an In-house or online course, you may be asked for photographic ID (Passport or driving licence) and your National Insurance Number.
To attend an online course, you will require access to the internet and must access the course via a laptop/desktop computer (or similar) with a microphone and camera. We cannot allow access to an online course using a mobile/smart phone.
We can offer courses up to a maximum of twelve candidates. Some online courses may be restricted to smaller numbers of up to 6-8 candidates.
Once the training has been completed and the exam has been passed, candidates will be issued with a cover letter and a virtual card SMS link will be sent to the candidates mobile phone. If a plastic smart card is required this will need to be ordered on booking. Please allow 3-4 weeks for the plastic card(s) to be delivered.
EUSR National Water Hygiene – 3 years
Scottish Water DOMS – 3 years
SHEA Water, Power, Gas, Drains & Sewers and Telecommunications – 3 years
SHEA Gas – 5 years
We advise to book in a renewal course at least one month before your cards expiry date.
Registration is based on successful completion of the training course. Registrations are submitted within 1 working day and the virtual card SMS links are normally received within 2-3 working days. Please note that the application of registrations for unpaid bookings will be put on hold and submitted once full payment has been received.

Full payment for all of our courses is required at time of booking, upfront prior to the course.
We accept card payment and bookings must be made through our website. We do accept payment on account for re-occurring clients. Requests for an account must be put in writing to accounts@h21training.com
